Broad societal awareness about human rights violations in Syria is crucial to meeting the goals of our organization. The Human Rights division at Start Point is dedicated to monitoring human rights in Syria, collecting data about human rights violations and reporting human rights violations to international authorities. We work alongside other NGOs and international organizations collecting this data so that we can present a realistic picture of the state of human rights in Syria to interested parties outside the region.

In addition, we also work tirelessly to raise awareness about specific human rights cases and issues. We believe that it is important for both global citizens and world political powers to know what has been and is currently happening in Syria. By increasing awareness, we are able to engage outside organizations who have expertise in this area and can help drive positive social change in Syria. We are also able to provide education to constituents and voters, who can then pressure political leaders to take meaningful action on human rights violations.
